Renwood Winery History
Situated in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley of northern California, Renwood Winery is surrounded by the rolling hills and rushing streams of California's Mother Lode. Our devotion to the craft of winemaking in the Shenandoah Valley began in 1993, and we plan to continue creating premier Zinfandels, Barberas, Syrahs and many other varieties well into the future.
From a small production run of only 2,500 cases when we first started, to nearly 100,000 cases annually today, Renwood wines have enjoyed consistently high ratings by some of the most respected wine critics in the world, and our dedicated wine club members will no doubt raise a glass in agreement. Competitive judgings throughout California and the U.S. reflect the skill of our winemaker and our dedication to the art.
Renwood is proud to carry on the tradition of Gold Country wine-making by producing world-class wines rich in flavor and long on character. Renwood's tasting list also includes classical foothill Zinfands, Syrahs and tart, jammy Barberas, with a wide selection of dessert wines and Vintage Ports to satisfy all tastes and occasions. We are honored by the continued support of our wine club members and the many guests who visit our tasting room, spreading the word about our hand-crafted wines. Our RSVP wine club program caters to all palettes, and member satisfaction is at the core of our efforts to maintain Renwood's presence in all 50 states and many foreign markets as well.
Renwood Winery is a grateful steward of the land, and this is reflected in our commitment to environmentally-friendly and sustainable farming and production techniques. Visitors to our 15,000 ft² production facility can witness firsthand the extent of our operations, enjoy a glass of their favorite Gold Country wine, and experience the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley to the fullest.
We look forward to seeing you!
