The inaugural vintage of our Estate Vineyard Barbera is a voluptuous wine with rich full flavors and silky supple tannins. Though these vines are young, they are exceptional at showcasing one of Amador County’s most extraordinary varietals. This lively wine exudes aromas of blueberry pie, red apple, fresh orange and black cherry followed by hints of sweet oak. Silky on the palate, the tannins are refined and perfectly balanced with the wine’s natural acidity making it succulent and mouthwatering all at once. Bright and opulent flavors of red plum, black currant, cranberry and rosemary, give way to subtle secondary notes of baking spices and white pepper. The long elegant finish creates a wine that is multi-layered, luscious, and exceptionally juicy. Laced with vitality and freshness, this wine is excellent on its own or with a hearty steak dinner. Drink now through 2022.
